About Nick Gilbert and Adina Ochert

With many years of continuous diving around the world, and especially in the UK, we have gained a wealth of expertise in the field of deep wreck photography, research and exploration.

We began mixed gas diving in the late 1990s and qualified as Open Circuit (OC) trimix divers in 1998. In 2000 we saw the potential of the Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) as a deep diving tool and, after making the initial switch from OC to CCR, qualified as CCR trimix divers later that year.

In 2003 we were invited to join the prestigious Starfish Enterprise technical diving team - having dived with them for some years - and were active members until its recent dissolution.

We have conducted deep explorations on several historically significant wreck sites including: the battle of Jutland, HMs/m Vandal, HMS Russell and most recently HMS Victoria where Adina set the world record for the deepest female wreck diver at 144m.
